Ms. Mina ARYAL
Ms. Aryal has been working as District Coordination Officer (DCO) at the District Co-ordination Office (DCC), Rasuwa since February 2020.
Prior to her current responsibility at the DCC, she worked at the Permanent Mission of Nepal in Geneva for 3 years (2016 to 2019) as the Deputy Permanent Representative of Commerce (DPR-Commerce) and represented Nepal at the World Trade Organization (WTO), International Trade Centre (ITC) and other trade related institutions.
Before that, she served more than 3 years as an Under Secretary and Section Head at the Multilateral Trade Section, Multilateral Trade Cooperation Division at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
As a civil servant, she has the working experience of more than 20 years in the field of trade policy, trade negotiations at the multilateral and bilateral level, economic development and planning, gender equality, among others, at different ministries/agencies including at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Women, Children and Senior Citizen and National Planning Commission Secretariat.
Ms. Aryal has represented Nepal in various national and international forums. Her more than a dozen of articles related to economic development, trade and investment have been published in various national newspapers and journals.
Ms. Aryal obtained her MBA Degree (Master of Business Administration) in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from Maastricht School of Management, the Netherlands under the Netherlands Fellowship programme and MPA Degree (Master in Public Administration) from Tribhuvan University of Nepal, in 2009 and 2002 respectively. Similarly, she was the Hubert Humphrey Fellow at the Michigan State University, Michigan, USA in 2011/12. The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship programme is a year-long professional development programme funded by the U.S. Department of State.
